Yale Health Plan will offer vaccination clinics for seasonal influenza* at many sites on campus this fall starting in mid-September. This vaccine is offered to all members of the Yale community free of charge. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or CDC recommends that you get your flu shot as early in the season as possible.
Our first two seasonal flu vaccination clinics will be conveniently located at Harkness Lounge at the Yale School of Medicine on September 18th from 10 AM to 3 PM and Woolsey Hall on September 23rd from 10 AM to 3 PM. To save time at these early immunization events you can now pre-register on our Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinics page or walk in on the day of the clinic and bring your completed registration form .
We are holding vaccination clinics at many sites on campus until the beginning of November (see the schedule) where we will immunize Yale’s students, faculty and staff at no charge.
*Please note that the seasonal influenza vaccine does not protect against H1N1 (swine) flu. The special vaccine for this strain of influenza will be released sometime in October and we will have additional information about it in coming weeks.
