Dogan and Lipset Awards

SCR members nominate a dissertation or book by a student or colleague -- or himself/herself for the Lipset or Dogan awards..

Years of Eligibility

Any comparativist dissertation defended within a two-year window is eligible for the Awards, excluding the current year.

Nomination procedures

Only works nominated by SCR members are considered. Nominations directly from presses are not accepted. (It is acceptable, however, to have copies of nominated books shipped directly from a press.)

Eligible works

We consider only authored or co-authored works. Edited volumes are not eligible.
