Oral History, American Music - A project dedicated to the collection and preservation of reminiscences with and about 20th Century American composers. The Duke Ellington series includes Ellington and ninety-two memoirs with those who knew or worked with him. Included are Alvin Ailey, Amici Baraka, Dave Brubeck, Sonny Greer, John Hammond, All Hibbler, Sy Oliver, Max Roach, Billy Taylor, Randy Weston, and Mary Lou Williams.
