Welcome to the Saybrook College web site, where our community and the
internet connect. This is my first year as Master of Saybrook, and I
am looking forward to being part of this wonderful community of
current students, alums, parents, Fellows, and staff. The Saybrook
College community is a special one, to which each resident contributes
and which each of us cherishes in his or her own way. Communities
like ours stay strong and vital as long as we remember to care for the
person next door, down the hall, around the corner, or on the other
side of the globe.
On these pages you will hopefully get a sense of our community, and be
able to find the information that you are looking for. If not, please
feel free to contact me (paul.hudak@yale.edu) or the Saybrook College
Master's Office (saybrookmastersoffice@yahoo.com), and we'll do what
we can to help.
"Say what? Saybrook!"
Paul Hudak
Master of Saybrook College
The first Saybrook College Council (SCC) meeting of this year will be Monday, September 8th at 10 pm in the Saybrook Common Room. This is a great way to get involved in your college, plus there's always great food and company. Don't miss it! E-mail scc-eboard@panlists.yale.edu with any questions.
SAC (the Saybrook/social/student Activities Committee) hosted its first event last week with a rockin' s'mores event. Get forward to an upcoming root beer float night, semi-formal, tailgates, election watching party, big sib / lil sib activities, and so much more. Want to get involved or have a great idea for a new event? E-mail BT or Julie at bryan.twarek@ yale.edu and Julie.mccomish@yale.edu.
