I grew up in Romania and came to the US as a college student. Before starting the Ph.D. in theology at Yale I received a Master of Arts in Religion degree from Yale Divinity School and a Bachelor's degree from Barry University. Among my academic attractions are feminist Christian theology, the doctrine of the trinity and socio-ethical consequences of its construal, human migration in relation to sources of identity and to conceptualizations of divine assistance, pneumatology, the place of particularity in theological anthropology, and the logic of grace. As side interests, I am fascinated by ancient Greek philosophy, theater studies (and just good theater!), and cross-cultural communication.
