I received a BA and an MA from the Talmud department at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. My MA thesis dealt with the lost legal Midrash of the Mechilta Deuteronomy. I am currently in the PhD program in the Judaic Studies program, Ancient Judaism. I am researching connections between the Babylonian Talmud and Monastic literature. I am also a visiting lecturer in the department of Religion at Smith College, teaching introduction to Rabbinic literature and Second Temple Judaism.
