I am writing a dissertation on the cult of Paul as martyr in the Latin West using archaeological, literary, artistic, and liturgical evidence. My research interests include the reception of Paul's life in both East and West, the archaeology of the New Testament world, and the interactions of religious traditions in Antiquity. Prior to coming to Yale, I earned degrees at Ohio State, St. Andrews (Scotland), Poitiers (France), and Gordon-Conwell. I also worked at an excavation at Isthmia (Greece).
