Brent Nongbri
I come to Yale from the University of Texas at Austin. My areas of interest include ancient Christianity and Judaism as well as method and theory in the study of religion. I am currently finishing my dissertation, entitled Paul Without Religion: The Creation of a Category and the Search for an Apostle Beyond "the New Perspective." I also work on the ongoing excavations of the ancient synagogue at Ostia in Italy.
