You can read articles from current and past issues online for free. The Center for Theology and Natural Sciences has a comprehensive collection of online articles related to religion, science and technology. Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science is the premier academic journal in the field of science and religion. Several free articles are available at the Zygon website, and if you are affiliated with a college or university, you most likely have institutional access to the journal. The American Association for the Advancement of Science has an extensive list of publications produced by its Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion program. Several of these publications are freely available. This page also includes links to several AAAS resolutions and statements on various topics of interest. The Gifford Lectures, appointment to which is one of the most prestigious honors in academia, are made available in book format each year, and many are available online, dating all the way back to 1888. The Faraday Papers, provided by the Farady Institute for Science and Religion at Cambridge, offer accessible introductions to the field of science and religion by a number of notable scholars, and are freely available in several languages. The Science and Religion Forum has several science and religion articles by notable scholars such as John Polkinghorne and Arthur Peacocke. The Columbia Series in Science and Religion is a list of science and religion related books published by Columbia University Press and affiliates. Science and Christian Belief is an academic journal devoted to science and religion, with a particular focus on Christianity. Founded 1989, it is published semiannually. A limited number of sample articles are available, but if you are affiliated with a college or university, you most likely have institutional access to the journal. The Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning has an extensive bibliography and links to online articles treating numerous topics in religion. |
