Diana M. Swancutt is assistant professor of New Testament. Her work focuses on ancient social practices and early Christian identity formation in Pauline communities. She helps students and churches think through ways in which early Christian identity and history echo into the present, and the ways in which the early church's response to Roman domination can inform the contemporary church in its response to social and political issues of our day.
