What types of bins do I need?

DORM BINS

Also known as the "room bins". The blue glass & bottle recycling bins can be picked up in your residential college basement.

Each student room should also have received a reusable green bag for Paper Recycling. If yours hasn't, contact your college's STEP coordinator.

OFFICE BINS

Marshall Bins (Set).
Marshall bins come in sets of two or three:
"cans & bottles", "mixed paper", and trash.

Deskside Combo.
The larger bin is for PAPER, and the
smaller bin is for TRASH.

OUTDOOR & EVENT BINS

Cans & Mixed Paper Carts.
Two carts: Blue for bottles and cans, Green for mixed paper.

Packing Material Reuse Station.
We ask you to put bubblewrap, packing peanuts, etc into these stations - the most centrally located can be found in the Post Office - this allows people who need packing materials to take for their own use. In case the bin is full, call Yale Recycling for emptying.
