---Welcome to Yale Recycling!

Recycling expands to include Metal and Supplies!

Yale Recycling now provided specially labeled gray carts for scrap metal and brown carts for supplies. Already available at most service areas, loading docks and trash sites, these carts allow everyone to recycle the small quantities of scrap metal and usable office supplies they may have on a daily basis. Yalies are encouraged to request additional carts for inside their buildings during special clean-out operations or to handle large volumes. The brown supplies carts can serve two functions: getting rid of usable items as well as finding free bargains.

Beach Cleanup:
Saturday, Sept. 20
12:00-3:30

The Beach cleanup on Saturday, September 20 was quite successful! If you couldn't make it, join us next time! For more information on the most recent cleanup, view the flier.

Spring Salvage: May 9 - May 30, 2008

Don't throw your stuff away when the term ends! Items you don't need or want are always reusable - if not for other students, for recycling. Check out our Spring Salvage page for info on how we help to make move-out day an opportunity to be sustainable. Leaving your dorm does not have to mean leaving a mess!

Recyclemania: How did we do?

Last Recyclemania (January-April 2008), Yalies sweated it out with Harvardians, Don't-Matter-tonians and other universities over who can recycle the most. See the results, and gear up for next year.
