Reach Out Finances

We think it's great that you're considering a Spring or Summer Break trip. However, Reach Out as an organization does not have funds to appropriate, nor does it directly assist participants in finding grants. However, we do encourage trip participants to fundraise to offset costs. Two sources of funding we recommend are International Education & Fellowship Propgrams (IEFP) and your Master's Office, which usually has spare funds to allocate to such needs as these. IEFP handles most, if not all, Yale-sponsored summer fellowships, and can be found at http://www.yale.edu/iefp/. That said, they usually don't award money for projects under six or eight weeks, so if you're looking into an internship as well, that may increase your eligibility.
