The Yale University Family Television Research and Consultation Center is affiliated with the Department of Psychology. The Co-directors are Jerome L. Singer, Professor of Psychology, and Dorothy G. Singer, Senior Research scientist in Psychology. The Center has become the focus at the University of a variety of activities related to the popular electronic media and especially the role of television and other communication processes in child and adolescent and family life.
