Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to call your attention to an important resource for members of the Yale community who are engaged in research.  The Yale Principal Investigators Handbook, a compendium of information and links related to the conduct of research at the University, is now available at: 
http://www.yale.edu/provost/html/resresch.html.  The Handbook provides guidance on numerous aspects of research including proposal preparation, funding opportunities, and regulatory and compliance issues.  It also serves as a gateway to research support offices and services at Yale.
 
I hope that you will find the Handbook to be a useful addition to the resources available on the Provosts web site. I welcome your input as we plan for future enhancements and updates to the Handbook and the web site.
