Cynthia A. Smith

Ms. Smith assumed her position in the Office of the Provost in February 2007. She came to Yale in 1997 and has served as Associate Controller and Director of Financial Systems and Services. Her current responsibilities include implementing academic and provostial policies and procedures, primarily in the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health; overseeing health-related academic support units; and implementing policies and procedures and advancing compliance in certain research compliance areas, such as human subjects protections, animal care and use, environmental health and safety, and conflicts of interest and commitment.
