Thomas G. Masse
Mr. Masse assumed his position as Associate Provost in August 2009. Working with the Deputy Provost for the Arts and Humanities, his responsibilities include strategic and operational planning for the professional schools of Architecture, Art, Drama, and Music, and related arts programs.
Mr. Masse returned to the Yale campus in 1999. Prior to assuming his present position, Mr. Masse was the Deputy Dean of the Yale School of Music, a position he held since 2005. He has held teaching posts at Yale, the University of Michigan and the University of Northern Colorado.
A clarinetist, he has performed throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia, and has taught and presented masterclasses throughout the world. He holds the M.M. and Artist Diploma from Yale, the D.M.A. from the University of Michigan, and in 2007 received an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
