Yale's Contract Listing is designed to save you time in locating reputable and reliable suppliers.  Yale Purchasing Services has established a contract for every supplier on this list.  These contracts vary in type and scope of value that they add to the procurement process.  Some suppliers have elaborate contracts in place that provide the University with deep discounts on frequently purchased goods and services.  Other contracts are in place primarily for ease of use.  Because there are a variety of recommended approaches, be sure to note the recommended method buy-pay approach for each supplier on the Contract Listing.

Finding a Supplier

For your convenience, you may sort the list in two ways:

• Alpha sort
  Search the Contract Listing for suppliers alphabetically. This type of search is recommended when you need the details of a particular supplier such as contract number, address, contact information, etc.
  
  
• Commodity sort
  Search the Contract Listing for suppliers by commodity (goods/services). This type of search is recommended when you need to locate a reputable and reliable supplier.
  
  
• Strategic Vendor Contracts
  To maximize the purchasing power of the University while reducing the cost of goods and services, Procurement has established special contracts with selected suppliers. These contracts are known as Strategic Vendor Contracts (SVC's) and offer numerous features to the community as well as provide an overall best value for the University.  For quick reference, Strategic Vendor Contracts are notated with "SVC" in the Contract Listing. • Buy New Haven Suppliers
  Local suppliers with Yale contracts are notated with "BNH" in the Contract Listing.  
  
  
• Stockroom Suppliers
  Products from the supplier you have chosen are available from the Kline Stockroom and/or the Medical School Stockroom.  
  
  
• SciQuest Suppliers
  SciQuest suppliers in the Contract Listing are only available through Yale's eProcurement solution, SciQuest.  These suppliers will not accept VIP phone orders.  Use a VIP number for payment with these suppliers through SciQuest only.  These suppliers are notated with "SciQuest" in the Contract Listing.
  
• Hotels
  For local hotel information, click on Yale Travel Services.

You may export the data in this list to Excel for further sorting but please be aware that the data is maintained on a weekly basis by Purchasing Services.  If you should encounter data in this list that is inaccurate, please notify us immediately at purchasing.helpdesk@yale.edu.
