Salaries
For the 2013-2014 fiscal year beginning July 1, the Yale salary standards below have been adopted. Postdoctoral appointees should not be paid less than the Yale minimum.

Term Limits
Individuals generally hold postdoctoral appointments at Yale University for no longer than four years, although a postdoc may be appointed for a fifth or sixth year when absolutely necessary. The total term of postdoctoral appointments may not exceed six years, including previous postdoctoral experience at other institutions.
