  Come to our first concert of the season! DPops will be in Davenport Dining Hall on October 10 at 9:30pm for its annual Family Weekend Concert, entitled "E.T. Phones Home, Freshmen Don't!" We'll be playing music from E.T., Harry Potter, Titanic, and Hook.

We are the Davenport Pops Orchestra, the only pops orchestra at Yale. The orchestra was founded in 2005 by a group of undergraduates, and is currently supported financially by Davenport College.

We want to make the orchestra experience fun for our members and for our audience. Our repertoire includes music from film, musical, and TV composers such as John Williams or David Shire. We hope to appeal to a broader audience than is usually targeted by classical orchestras.
