Donald Green, Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley, 1988, is A. Whitney Griswold Professor of Political Science and Director of the Institution for Social and Policy Studies. His research concerns public opinion, voting behavior, campaign finance, hate crime, and rationality.  He is currently teaching Advanced Statistics for Graduate Students.  Publications include: “The Effects of Canvassing, Direct Mail and Telephone Contact on Voter Turnout: A Field Experiment", with A. Gerber, American Political Science Review, 2000, “Defended Neighborhoods, Integration, and Racially-Motivated Crime,” with D. Strolovitch and J.
