Alison Fine Kingsley

Allison Fine Kingsley is a lecturer in the Department of Political Science and the International Affairs Council. Since 2006, she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in international political economy, foreign investment, and emerging markets, and she previously taught in Columbia University’s Department of Political Science and New York University’s Department of Politics.

Professor Kingsley earned her B.A. cum laude from Rice University, M.S.L. from Yale Law School, and Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University. Her published research, Dealing Away Risk in Foreign Infrastructure Investments, was supported by competitive grants and won distinguished awards from Jacob K. Javits Foundation, Ford Foundation, Center for International Business Education, and CITI-Sloan Foundation.

Concurrent with her position at Yale, Professor Kingsley is a Director and Head of Research at Reformation Group Holdings, a private firm that specilizes in project finance in emerging markets. She provides credit analysis and makes investment decisions on transaction and serves as the head of the firm's research endeavors. Prior to joining Reformation, Professor Kingsley worked at Ambac where she focused on project finance and emerging markets, executing transactions across asset classes and in numerous countries. She started her career at Lehman Brothers in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group.
