Abbey Steele

Fifth-year PhD student. Research interests include state building, civil wars, and political behaviour (including political violence in non-civil war settings). Dissertation focuses on armed group organization and strategies vis-a-vis civilian populations during civil war, especially related to displacement and resettlement. Currently conducting fieldwork in Colombia.
