A road to Quantum criticality at the Nano-scale

Abstract: The aim of this talk is to discuss novel phase transitions at zero temperature possibly emerging from the nano-matter (qubits) by varying some intrinsic parameters. An interesting perspective for instance is the idea to "control" the electromagnetic noise allowing to reveal intriguing quantum phase transitions. Several specific examples will be given.
