Recent results from the VERITAS experiment
Abstract: The VERITAS experiment is an array of four 12 m imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes located in Southern Arizona. It is designed to observe very-high-energy gamma-ray emission between 100 GeV and several TeV. VERITAS addresses a wide range of astrophysical phenomena including searches for dark matter annihilation, the origin of cosmic-rays, black holes and relativistic jets and more. The experiment has been operating with a full array since 2007. Here I will present the instrument and show new results from recent observations.
