Directions
From I-95 Northbound or Southbound:
Take I-91 North in New Haven
From I-91 Northbound or Southbound:
Exit I-91 at Trumbull Street (Exit 3), proceed along Trumbull and turn right onto Whitney Avenue. Soon there will be a large parking lot on your left, just at the point where Humphrey Street runs into Whitney from the right. Turn left into the parking lot. Very near the entrance you turn right into a subsection of the parking lot for visitors, labeled LOT 16.
The Wright Nuclear Structure Laboratory is adjacent to the parking lot and is situated to the left of the parking garage at the north end of the lot. JW Gibbs Lab is the large aqua colored building at the west end of the lot. The main physics building, Sloane Physics Laboratory, is located beyond Gibbs near the base of the tall tower (Kline Biology Laboratory).
The Chairman's Office is on the first floor (Rm. 34 Sloane Physics).Distances are 140 miles from Boston, 70 miles from NYC, 50 miles from Bradley airport just north of Hartford, and roughly 6 miles from Tweed airport in New Haven.
