Title:
Nonperturbative chiral symmetries in gauge field theories
Abstract:
For many years it was believed that one cannot preserve exact chiral
symmetries for massless quarks in gauge theories with a finite
ultraviolet cutoff. This problem has been solved during the last
decade. The talk will provide an overview of the problem, the main idea
behind its solution, and the message this solution might contain about
Nature.
