Title: A Real Space View of The High Temperature Superconductivity Problem
Abstract: The problem of high temperature superconductivity in the cuprate compounds, along with problems in many other strongly correlated and frustrated
systems, has been in search for a renormalization scheme which could
connect an accepted microscopic model to a low energy
effective Hamiltonian. This would provide a solid route to explaining
the unusual phenomenology of
cuprate phases.
Such a scheme, called CORE, has been recently implemented for the
cuprates, with very promising results.
Further uses of CORE are rapidly
gaining ground.
