Abstract: Inflationary cosmology is considered by many to be a compelling theory of the origin of the large scale structure of the universe and an essential component of the big bang model. But is this judgment too hasty? This talk will present the case for and against inflation, leaving you to be the jury (and Nature to be the judge).
