This website discusses the role parents play in their daugthers' lives and life choices. It is the family and community's expectations and experiences that are more likely to influence girls' decisions than their innate abilities.

Great Science Books and Experiments to Try at Home

Part of the Girls' Science Investigations website, this page lists a variety of experiments that can be done at home. There is also a list of interesting science books, including books about women in science.
