Troup Middle School

To get there: You can walk from Yale. Just go west on Elm Street (away from down-town New Haven) about 5 or 6 blocks. Take a LEFT on Beers Street. The school is a large 3+ story brick building on the corner of Edgewood Ave and Beers St. Go in the side door which is on Beers St. The main office is on the left.
Jackie Robinson Middle School
150 Fournier St.

To get there: You need to drive or take the bus. To drive, go out Dixwell Ave. toward Hamden. At the corner with the drugstore take a left onto Fournier St. The drugstore has a pale blue sign with gold lettering. The school is 2 blocks ahead, straight in front of you. It is a cement building with almost no windows. You can also take a bus from Broadway (Au Bon Pain corner) out to the corner on Dixwell where the drugstore is and walk just the 2 short blocks to the school. Fair Haven Middle School

To get there: You need to drive or take the bus (or bicycles). To drive, go straight through downtown on Elm St. Cross State St. and cross the RR bridge. It becomes Grand Ave. The school will be a large brick building on the RIGHT. Call the bus company for details on bus transportation: CT Transit is 624-0151.
Betsy Ross Arts Magnet
To get there: You need to drive or take the bus. To drive, take 91 North: Drive out Elm St. past the Green, Left on State St. Go two blocks and turn right onto 91 N. Get off at Exit 8. Go straight, then Right at the second light onto Barnes Ave. School is on the Right. Call the bus company for details on bus transportation: CT Transit 624-0151
West Hills Middle School

To get there: Go all the way down George St. past State St. Take a Right on Olive St. Go all the way to the end. Take a quick Left and quick Right. Follow that road. Pass Post Office on the Right, keeping the harbor on your left. Just past the New Haven Register building, the next driveway is the one for the school. Go in the parking lot. Then through the door and through the gym, and you’ll find the main office. Again, call the bus company if you can’t get a car.
Our Lady of Victory School
To get there: You probably need to drive. Take 95 South. Get off on Exit 42, Saw Mill Road. Take a Left at the end of Exit. Go Left at next traffic light. Go straight til you can go no more. Straight through a 4-way STOP sign and over some RR tracks. Then Turn Right at end of road. Go Left at next intersection. Take a Left and school is on the Left. Pull in the driveway past the rectory. Go in through the glass doors.
Sacred Heart
To get there: This is a fairly easy walk from campus. Just walk down Elm St. by the Co-op and the Chapel Square Mall. Go Right on Church St. Follow Church all the way up over the highway, staying on the right side of the street. Go Right onto Columbus Ave.
St. Vincent de Paul School

To get there: You need to drive or take the bus. Take 95 North toward Branford. Get off on Exit 51 - Furnage Road. Go ½ mile and at the first light, take a Right onto Forbes Place. At next light, where you will see a CVS, take a Left onto Main St. Go 1 block to Taylor Ave. Take a Right onto Taylor. At first STOP sign take a Right. The school is on the Right. Bishop St. runs parallel to Main St. and if you’re taking the bus, you may have to walk down Bradley or Taylor just a couple of short blocks to get there. Hamden Middle School
To get there: If driving, go north up Prospect St. all the way to the end. Take a Left, when you can go no further. Go to the end of the street, the school is in front of you. You can also take the bus. It’s easy. Call CT Transit for more info. 624-0151.
