Every year, Peace Games staff, volunteers, teachers and students come together at a day-long event: The Peace Games at Yale Festival. A central feature of the Peace Games program, festivals are held by all Peace Games Programs.

Participants spend the day in small groups where they meet with students from other area schools and share the skills they learn in the classroom. Students play games and participate in workshops run and created by Yale student volunteers in addition to sharing and playing the "Peace Games" that they themselves create during the program. The activities of the day ask the student participants to draw on the skills they learn through the program to work together, complete various tasks and achieve objectives, and find themselves immersed in a completely enjoyable day.

The Peace Games at Yale Festival is run by student volunteers and relies on generous support of local, regional and national vendors to provide support for the various activities, and for the free lunch that is provided for all participants. Donors in the past have included the various departments of Yale University, Pepsi, McDonald's, Snapple, and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.

We will be putting up some pictures from the festival here soon!
