Bulletin of the Peabody Museum of Natural History

In publication since the opening of the current Yale Peabody Museum building in 1925, the Bulletin of the Peabody Museum of Natural History publishes monographs of original research in the natural science disciplines represented by the collections of the Museum’s curatorial divisions.


The Bulletin of the Peabody Museum of Natural History is published twice a year, in April and October.

As of January 2008, abstracts and full text of papers published in the Yale Peabody Museum’s Bulletin Volume 47 (2006) and later are available online to institutional subscribers of BioOne, an electronic database of high-impact bioscience research journals.

Postilla Back Issues

The Bulletin incorporates the Bulletin of the Bingham Oceanographic Collection, which ceased independent publication after Vol. 19, Article 2 (1967), and, beginning with Bulletin Volume 47, also incorporates the Postilla series, which ceased with issue number 232 in May 2004.
