Parents and their guests are welcome to attend events as time and interest permit. When should I plan to arrive and depart? Parents arrive as their work obligations and other commitments permit. The more popular events (faculty lectures and panel discussions) are generally scheduled for mid-afternoon on Friday. Most parents leave on Sunday morning. I am bringing my vehicle. Where may I park? Information on parking regulations, lot locations, and short-term permits (for a fee) may be accessed on the Yale Parking Services Web site or by contacting the Parking and Transit Services office at 203-432-9790. Are siblings and other relatives invited? Parents may be accompanied by guests. Please note that some events have admission fees. Where can I find information on undergraduate organizations and their events? A listing of events sponsored by undergraduate organizations during Parents' Weekend may be found in the Yale Bulletin & Calendar, the Yale Daily News, or on campus kiosks. My mailing address information is incorrect. How is this information updated? Parent mailing addresses are updated on line yearly by undergraduates. With the exception of open houses listed on the Parents' Weekend schedule, administrative offices are closed during the weekend. May I attend classes? Most classes cannot accommodate additional seating. Permission to attend a course section or class is granted by the instructor only. Faculty lectures, scheduled for Friday afternoon, offer an excellent opportunity to experience a Yale lecture. What dining options are available to parents? Guests are welcome to dine in the residential college dining halls, Commons, Slifka Center, or the many fine restaurants near campus. Payment by cash or check is generally accepted when dining on campus.
