The undergraduate LGBT Co-op has a group called T-GAY (tip: email them in advance, because meeting-times change)

 

The New Haven Gay and Lesbian Community Center has a group called cTView

 

Connecticut Outreach Society (in Farmington, events also in West Hartford)

A group serving the educational and support needs of the transgender community. Holds both support and social meetings. Their website is quite impressive, check it out. In particular, download the local support guide (pdf format)

 

Connecticut TransAdvocacy Coalition does political and social advocacy to make Connecticut a safe and tolerant place for trans-identified individuals.

 

The Twenty (in Hartford)

A support group run by and for the transsexual community. Provides knowledgeable information and ongoing peer support to transsexuals through the many stages of their transition. Their website is quite impressive too, check it out. In particular, check out the "legal matters"
