For emergency psychological support during business hours (8:30am to 5:00pm weekdays) call the Mental

Lesbian Anti-Violence Project
Based in New York.
Their hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365
days a year. Their professional counselors and trained volunteers offer
emotional and practical support to victims of violence. Support is available
in both English and Spanish. All calls are confidential, and callers can
remain anonymous.
