Workshops - Recommended Workshops
A regular series of workshops will be offered on a rotating basis each semester. Some are offered by the OUP while others may be sponsored in cooperation with and geared specifically towards the needs of various undergraduate producing organizations like the Yale Dramatic Assocaition. All workshops are open to all students. Check with the OUP each semester for a specific workshop schedule.
It is recommended that all students planning on being involved in theater production on campus attend the Ladder/Scaffold & Safety Workshop as well as the Basic Skills Workshop. Students specifically interested in work on lighting crews should attend the Basic Lighting and Electrical Safety Workshop. Those interested in build crews should attend the Basic Tool Use and Construction Techniques Workshop. For some production team positions these workshops are required.
Periodically more advanced or specific workshops may be offered for those who express an interest. If there is a specific area of interest you would like to see addressed please contact our office.
