FY 2007 Federal Budget Update
The 109th Congress which ended on December 9, 2006, failed to complete nearly all of the appropriation bills funding domestic programs. Instead they passed a continuing resolution (CR) through February 15, 2007, for those agencies whose FY2007 spending bills have not yet been enacted.

Moveable Equipment Inventory Quality Assurance Program
The Cost Analysis Department of Sponsored Programs Finance is pleased to announce the establishment of its new Moveable Equipment Inventory (MEI) Quality Assurance Program. The purpose of this new process, an outgrowth of the University’s recent “100 Day Plan”, is to ensure good stewardship of Moveable Equipment purchased with Yale University funds and appropriate disposition of that equipment.

Program Income
If a sponsored project generates income, either as part of the programmatic activity supported by the sponsor or as a by-product of the sponsored project, that project is generating Program Income which grantees are obligated to keep track of and report.
