Many faculty members -- including Peter Eisenman and the school's dean, Robert A.M. Stern -- have thriving practices of their own. The school's students also have the opportunity to learn from an ever-changing roster of celebrated architects, who in recent years have included Pritzker Prize winners Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid and Glenn Murcutt. They also gain hands-on experience designing and building affordable housing through the school's renowned First Year Building Project.
The School of Architecture -- housed in a building designed by Paul Rudolph, its one-time dean -- also boasts a gallery that regularly features exhibitions showcasing trends in the field.

Yale School of Architecture
Graduates and faculty of the Yale School of Architecture have changed the skylines of great cities around the globe. The school's alumni designed such landmark structures as "The Gateway Arch" in St. Louis, Missouri, the German Parliament building in Berlin, the Hearst Tower in New York City, Paris' Pompidou Center, London's Millennium Dome and the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C.
