CRISP Nanotechnology Workshops in Nov.

The Yale-SCSU Center for Research on Interface Structures and Phenomena (CRISP) will be hosting two professional development workshops in November.

November 7 - "Seeing is Believing": Nanotechnology & Photonics (at SCSU)
November 14 - "Seeing is Believing": Tools for Nanotechnology: Molecular Beam Epitaxy (at Yale)

Overview: The workshops will provide instruction and hands-on activities in a variety of science/technology fields including Nanotechnology, Materials Science and Optics. In addition, our goal is that workshop participants will collaboratively develop curricular components including appropriate student learning activities and assessment tasks that are aligned with Connecticut's Core Science Curriculum Frameworks.

Attached are each of the flyers for the workshops as well as the application. This is a generic application which will be used for all future CRISP PD workshops and so it must be filled out accordingly for each workshop. You may submit your application(s) electronically to this email (crisp.scsu@gmail.com), or mail it in to Dr. Christine Broadbridge (see application for details).
