New at the Social Science Data Archive
The Social Science Data Archive has recently received the following new datafiles:
Practice Patterns of Young Physicians, 1991. Information on attitudes toward medical practice, career choice, family background. A similar study, which SSDA also holds, was conducted in 1987.
Chinese Household Income Project, 1988 was designed to measure and estimate the distribution of income in both rural and urban areas of the People's Republic of China. Income includes cash payments, payments in kind, agricultural output produced for self-consumption, value of ration coupons and other subsidies, etc.
National Medical Expenditure Survey 1987, Health Insurance Plans Survey Data, Private Insurance Benefit Database...[Public Use Tape 16] was conducted to verify respondents' information in the Household Survey and the Survey of American Indians and Alaska Natives about health insurance coverage.
National Medical Expenditure Survey 1987, Health Insurance Plans Survey Data, Private Health Insurance of Household Survey Policyholders and Dependents [Public Use Tape 24] provides information on health expenditures by or on behalf of families or individuals, the financing of the expenditures, and each person's use of services.
