Science Libraries

We invite our readers to discover, explore, and benefit from the ever expanding computer-based resources of the Science Libraries, both in the libraries and through the libraries via the Internet World Wide Web.

Newly networked at Yale is INSPEC, the leading service for publication information on the world's literature in physics, electronics, and computing. Bibliographic citations and abstracts can be found from 1980 to the present and are updated weekly. INSPEC is accessible through the libraries' guided system.

The first-mentioned URL site also provides a connection path to MathSciNet, the premier literature database for pure and applied mathematics. MathSciNet offers astounding features with its coverage since 1940 and its partial daily updates.

Please feel free to consult with a librarian for further clarification or for identification of other information sources outside the scope of these resources.
