Announcing the Internet Information Center

The Internet Information Center, provides help navigating and using internet resources, including electronic mail, file transfers, electronic bulletin-boards, and information search and retrieval.

Specific services include:

* communications software distribution for dial-up access to email and other Internet services

* modem set-up and troubleshooting

* guidance choosing dial-up service options:

Apple Remote Access SLIP (Serial Line Internet Protocol) Terminal connections

* Internet navigation with client applications Gopher World Wide Web (Mosaic or Netscape) Archie and Veronica Telnet File transfer (FTP) News readers

Location: Computer Center at 175 Whitney Avenue

Hours: Monday - Friday 1:00 - 5:00 pm Appointments available at other times

Appointments: Please send email to iic@minerva.cis.yale.edu to set up an appointment. Include as much information about the topic of the consultation and possible times that you can meet with a consultant at the Internet Information Center.
