The Social Science Data Archive has recently received the following new datafiles:

National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey I, Epidemiologic Follow up Studies for 1986-87. A longitudinal study of adults who were examined, measured and interviewed in 1971-75. The 1986 study focused on people who were 55-74 at the time of the first study and who were not known to be dead at the time of the 1986 study. The 1987 study returned to the entire cohort and includes various measurements, mortality data for the deceased and health care facility information as well as interview responses.

Survey of School Psychology in Developed and Developing Countries, 1987 1990. Replicates surveys of the state of school psychology that were conducted in 1948 and 1954. Data are included for 54 countries.

WCBS-TV News/New York Times New York City Poll, May 1993. A special topic poll focusing on issues of concern to residents of New York City and in particular on the mayoral campaign.

CBS News/New York Times/Tokyo Broadcasting System, Japan Poll and Call-Back, June 1993. Respondents were asked about the Clinton presidency and their opinions related to Japan.
Survey of Consumer Finances, 1986. Updates information on household finances and employment for people interviewed in the 1983 Survey which SSDA also has.

Survey of Consumer Finances, 1989. Contains detailed data on household budgets, terms of loans, assets, liabilities and attitudes toward credit use and consumer credit regulations.

National Health Interview Survey, 1993: AIDS Knowledge and Attitudes Supplement. Survey of more than 20,000 respondents and their knowledge of AIDS, its transmittal and treatment and their attitudes toward AIDS.
