Those interested in statistical comparison of university or department publications may wish to consult University Science Indicators (USI): a database of summary publication and citation statistics reflecting research performance in the sciences 1981-1994. This database, produced by ISI (known for publishing Science Citation Index and Current Contents) provides numerous search types and analyses for publication data from 100 U.S. universities including Yale. USI and its related resources -Journal Citation Reports and Science Citation Index- are available at Kline Science Library and will be described more fully in Science Imprint.
