Welcome to Yale! We are excited that you have joined our community and look forward to introducing you to the campus and life at Yale and in New Haven. Yale University is host to more than 2000 international scholars (postdocs, visiting scholars, scientists and faculty) from 100 countries.

Check in with OISS

All international visitors are required by law to report to the Office of International Students and Scholars upon their arrival in New Haven. (Failure to check in could result in loss of your legal status in the U.S.)

Our OISS orientation program will make this check-in process easy and rewarding.

exclaimPlease Note: The OISS orientation can take up to one hour to complete.
