ISPY Goal Setting Workshop

Coming to Yale strikes most of us as an excellent opportunity, but for some spouses and partners it can be a challenging experience, especially if you have left behind a career in order to accompany your spouse to the U.S. This workshop will help you make the most of your stay in New Haven by giving you the tools to determine, develop and implement an individual action plan - whether your goal is to find a job, improve your English language skills, or develop another skill.

The workshop is offered in four parts on consecutive Mondays from 5:30-7pm:

9/17: Introductions and self-analysis
9/24: Establishing your objective
10/1: Résumé/CV revision and writing tips
10/8: Resources and achieving your goal

All sessions will take place at the International Center, 421 Temple Street.

It is important to attend all four sessions in order to get the most out of the workshop and to share ideas with fellow participants. The program is recommended for spouses and partners, but is open to all.

iconSpace is limited; please register in advance in person at the OISS (during regular business hours). A $20 deposit is required that will be returned to you if you attend all four sessions. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children at the workshops.
