How to Survive a New England Winter:
Cold Clinic and Winter Apparel Giveaway
New England is famous for its four distinct seasons, including beautiful (and cold!) winters and we hope you will learn to take advantage of the region’s year‐round outdoor opportunities.
However, you can only enjoy winter if you are properly prepared, which is why OISS, Grad Student Life at the McDougal Center, Yale University Health Services, and Asian Network @ Yale have joined forces to make sure that your first winter in New England is a safe, healthy, and fun one.
Give the gift of warmth to international students and scholars experiencing their first New England winter! We are looking for donations of new or gently used winter apparel items—coats, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, sweaters, ski pants, etc.— for men, women, and children. We request that used items be laundered or dry‐cleaned before donating.
Donations accepted anytime before Thursday, October 29 at:
| International Center, 421 Temple, 8:30am‐9pm, Monday to Friday | |
Donations accepted until Monday, October 26 at these campus partner locations:
| Forestry & Environmental School, Kroon Hall | |
