Wind over Wings

Live Nature Program

Birds of Prey including an American Bald Eagle
Sunday, November 8, 2009

Local Naturalist Hope Douglas will bring several LIVE native American birds to New Haven for a demonstration, lecture and Q&A. Of course, we have FOOD for hungry students. Come take a break from your studies! Sponsored by the Connecticut Fulbright Alumni Association and presented by Wind over Wings ("WOW"), this opportunity offered a rare look at our regional wildlife. WOW is a Connecticut wildlife education center which rehabilitates injured wildlife, specializes in "Raptors" (particularly Eagles) and releases them back to their natural environment when viable. Come see some of these magnificent birds of prey found in North America and learn about WOW's work supporting nature.
