Event #1 – Book Binding and Blind Contours: Have you ever wanted to make your own book, but didn't have all of the necessary materials? Come to OISS and learn how to make a super simple 16 page journal. We provide the materials, you provide the artistic enthusiasm! Tickets are $5 for materials, spaces are limited, registration is required.

Uma's Evening: Yale Philharmonia
Meet @ 421 Temple Street

International students, scholars and their families are invited to join us for light refreshments and mingling at the International Center before we walk together to the Yale Philharmonia concert at Woolsey Hall. Maestro Shinik Hahm conducts the Yale Philharmonia in Mahler 2: Resurrection with the Yale Glee Club and Yale Camerata. This event is $6.00, but space is limited. Registration is required. Reception starts at 6:30pm and the event starts at 7:30pm

Want to check out the New Haven Pride Block Party? No one to go with? Can't find your Pride accessories? Join the Office of LGBTQ resources and OISS and have your face painted and make-up done by a professional make-up artist (specializing in Drag make-up). We will also be giving away free Pride Swag and snacks. After the event we will all head down to the New Haven Pride Block Party - games and a Dunk-A-Queen booth. This event is +21 only and BYOB. Boston Bus Trip
Meet @ 421 Temple Street

Spend Sunday exploring Boston on your own or with your friends. Walk the Freedom Trail, buy some “chowda,” or do some shopping. Trip fee covers round-trip transportation only; you will be responsible for any other expenses. Tickets $30 each, no children under the age of 7 are allowed on the bus. Space is limited; advance registration and payment is required.
